The Reason Why Susan Boyle is Competing on AGT: The Champions
Susan Boyle set Britain’s Got Talent stage on fire in 2009 with her stunning rendition of I Dreamed a Dream. She is one of the 10 Brit acts to compete on America’s Got Talent: The Champions, which is set to premiere on January 7.
Susan has Something to Prove!
The talented songstress finished second in BGT season 3, but is all set to claim the title of AGT: The Champions.
In a new clip from the launch episode, the Scottish singer explains,
(I’m) a champion for those who don’t have the confidence to do things and don’t have a voice; the ones people tend to ignore. I feel like I’m a champion for them.
Susan and 49 other acts from the different version of the Got Talent franchise will compete against each other. This time she is coming as confident as ever and is determined that she has “something to prove.” She adds,
I couldn’t possibly walk away from a second chance to prove myself. I’m really looking forward to singing – this time, with something to prove.
We are yet to see Susan do her thing, but her performance was amazing enough to earn a golden buzzer from Mel B during her audition in BGT season 3.
Will she able to impress the judges and audience to win the forthcoming competition? Comment your thoughts!
