The Voice might have found a gem during their blind auditions on March 9, 2018.

Stephanie Skipper, the State College alum, grew up in Pennsylvania and is currently living in Nashville, Tennessee.

Her mother, Karen Sabel, is also a musician and has played the guitar in the Circa 1981.

Through her passionate cover of Kelly Clarkson’s Piece by Piece song, she even made her inspiration, Kelly, cry.

Though the episode of her audition ended with a cliffhanger, we finally know that she is now a part of Team Adam.

She was signed to Gotee Records as Stephanie Smith in 2006. After releasing one full-length album and two EP’s, she left Gotee in 2012.

Stephanie is currently in a band named ‘Copperlily’ with Tim Skipper, with whom she got married on November 3, 2012.

Tim is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and he is also a part of a rock band, House of Heroes.

House of Heroes, was also signed to Gotee Records and were initially a punk band called Plan B.

The band released their last album, Colors on July 1, 2016.

According to their website, the band doesn’t have any upcoming tour dates. So, maybe the band has separated now.

The couple was last seen in Stephanie’s last Instagram post, where she wrote a lengthy caption thanking family and friends.
