Celebrity gold miner and entrepreneur, Todd Hoffman is best known for his appearance on the reality series, Gold Rush. 

He was born on April 12, 1969, in Sandy, Oregon, United States. 

After his airspace company flopped after the financial crisis of 2008, he concentrated towards gold mining. 

His father, Jack Hoffman, mined gold for adventure in the 1980s and it was him who inspired Todd for gold mining.

When he decided to try his hand in mining, he invested a million dollars in mining equipment.

The show, Gold Rush has been documenting the gold mining in Alaska since 2010, which made Todd a household name.

One of the successful gold miners in the show, Todd announced his departure from the show on February 17 episode of ‘Gold Rush: Live.’ 

His salary from the show is expected to be between $200,000 and $400,000 per season. 

He still owns an airport in Sandy, where he rents out the spaces for private jets. 

He has started a production company, ZUM Media with producer, Jose Behar. 

The Gold Standard TV is working on an idea from Todd and has started a project called Prodigal.

From his different ventures, he has accumulated a huge net worth of $7 million.

He is happily married to Shauna Hoffman, whom he calls his life and his rock.

He has three children, two sons, Hunter and Hudson and a daughter, Olivia. Hunter appears in ‘Gold Rush.’
