Sela Ward was born Sela Ann Ward on July 11, 1956. She is currently 58 years of age and has been as an actress, author, producer and spokesperson since the year 1983. Sela Ward was born in Meridian, Mississippi, United States as a daughter of Anne Kate, who was a house wife and passed away in 2002 of ovarian cancer and father Granberry Holland who was an electrical engineering who too passed away in 2009. Ward is the eldest child of her family as she has a small sister named Jenna and two brother named Brock and Granberry III. She has performed in various roles but arguably her best role is considered as role of Teddy Reed on American television show named Sisters and as Lily Manning on Once and Again.

Sela Ward’s educational life was sheltered by University of Alabama where is served as a Crimson Tide cheerleaders. During her time in University of Alabama, Sela Ward was in relationship with Bob Baumhower who served Miami Dolphins in two Super Bowls.  But the relationship was not carried too far as she married Howard Sherman who is a successful actor.
