A legendary and extremely talented Samuel Carthorne Rivers, better known as ‘Sam Rivers’ was a renowned American musician and composer. He claimed to prominence during the mid-period of 1960s. Rivers is best known for his thorough command in orchestration, music theory and composition. This legendary music artist was born on 25th September, 1923 in El Reno, Oklahoma, U.S. He born to a gospel musician who has sang with the ‘Fisk Jubilee Singers’.
