Some legends have become the part of the Hollywood film industry who has contributed their whole life in entertaining the world with their amazing talents. One among those great people is the famous American Actor Robert Blake who contributed almost six decades of his life in the entertainment world. The magnanimous man made his first step on the Earth on September 18, 1933 in Nutley, New Jersey, USA. He was named Michael James Vincenzo Gubitosi at his birth. His life as a child was not very pleasing as he was abused by his father who was a alcoholic. Even at school he was bullied and teased by other children. According to him, he was sexually and mentally abused by his parents which made him flew away from home when he just turned 14.
Talking about his career journey, he started appearing in movies as a child artist. His first appearance in acting was in the movie of the MGM, Bridal Suite in the year 1939. When he became an adult, he joined the United States Army force. He returned to Sothern California and got enrolled in acting classes of Jeff Corey to improve his skills. He then gained fame as a Hollywood star by appearing in different movies and television series. He played in several movies such as, Pork Chop Hill (1959), The Purple gang (1960), Town Without Pity (1961), ENSIGN Pulver (1965), In Cold Blood (1967), Tell Them Willie Boy IS Here (1969) and several others. He gained huge acclamation for his appearance on the TV series Baretta. He gave continuity to his acting through movies like Blood Feud (1983), Money Train (1995), Lost Highway (1997). He remained active in acting till 1997.
Digging into his personal life, his marital life has not proved to be very pleasing. The well-proportioned man has gone through many ups and downs in his life. He married Sondra Kerr in 1961. The couple lived happily for some years and was blessed with two children namely, Noah Blake and Delinah Blake. However, circumstances changed somehow and the couple got a divorce in 1983. Then after spending a single life for some years his life gave him hope when he met Bonnie Lee Bakley. Bakley was in a relationship with Christian Brando also at that time. There aroused a controversy when Bakley became pregnant as she did not know who the real father was. Then in 2000, when the DNA reports came out, Blake married her and the daughter was also renamed Rose Blake. But the lady was shot dead in the year 2001. He was charged guilty of his wife’s murder and arrested in 2002. He was freed of the charge in 2005. He had to bear a great loss of his wealth at that time due to which his net worth was hampered highly. The man now just has his fame but not the fortunate income which he made during his service.
