Robert Stanley Dyrdek is a renowned American professional skateboarder, actor, reality TV star, producer and an entrepreneur. He was born in 1974 and celebrates his birthday on June 28, every year. People know his mostly by his nick name Rob. He is most known as a skateboarder and for his roles in his own reality shows like Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, Ridiculousness and Rob and Big.

He was born and raised in Kettering, Ohio, United States to Patty and Gene Dyrdek. He was always passionate about sports and started skating at the age of 11. The famous professional skateboarder Neil Blender gave him his first skateboard. It didn’t even take him a year to join as the youngest member of the popular skateboarding team G&S (Gordon & Smith). He was a pro at 16, and joined the Alien Workshop.

He started his skateboarding career at a young age as he got a sponsorship from Blender’s company. After a few years, they together quit the company and created Alien Workshop. He dropped out of high school and moved to Southern California to pursue his career. Then he started riding for Droors Clothing which later became DC Shoes (which he now owns). He founded the Street league Skateboarding (SLS), an enterprise that holds skateboarding competitions. Its fame has grown from a domestic level to an international level. He got into acting with an MTV reality series Rob & Big (2006-08). He was then featured in Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, in February 2009. He expands his entrepreneurial venture through the show which has a large indoor skate plaza, a music studio, a foam pit and his personal office. He made a movie Street Dreams which came out in 2009. He has also appeared in the 2011 movie Jackass 3.5 and came up with another show on MTV called Ridiculousness. Owing to his successful career he has been able to keep 21 different Guinness World Records, 19 records on his skateboarding and two eating records. His numerous business ventures now include cartoon Wild Gringers on Nickelodeon, Megahorse racing, Rob Dydrek Foundation and Street League Skateboarding.

Rob hasn’t married till now. There were ongoing rumors that he was dating someone or the other but nothing serious has ever happened. He prefers not to speak about his love life so not much is known about his girlfriends, except the rumors of course. He likes spending time with his friends and families. He became an ordained minister in 2011 just to perform his sister Denise’s wedding. He now resides in Hollywood, California with his two bull dogs Meaty and Beefy and is quite fond of them.
