Reece Thompson Biography
A heart-throb actor, Reece Daniel Thompson is known to the world as a rocket loving guy from the blockbuster hit Rocket Science. Before the role that got him the applause of the audience as well as the critics, Thompson was an active voice actor who used to voice act in some Tv-series and minor roles in the films. He has the supportive role alongside Bruce Willis and Mischa Barton from the 2009’s release ‘Assassination Of a High School President’ to his name. From there Thompson was able to land some important leading roles and the worldwide fame to his name from and in the adaptations as craig in the 2012 hit, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.
Born on the 22nd of November, 1988 in the heart of a small town near Vancouver, Canada, Thompson’s father had the job of the founder of a film society in their own town and his mother used to work as to run the same business of bringing independent movies to town. Sharing the family’s job, both the parents and the son, started to take some background roles in their productions and show-cased them in Vancouver. He could not have asked for anything more than his parents’ love and support. He was at the sixth grade when the school going had him not wanting to study and he was able to convince his parents to homeschool him and then the rest of his schooling was done in an Acting School from where he got introduced to the auditioning companies. A theatre company named The Vancouver Theatre saw him evolve as an amateur theatre artist.

He has said that his’ major and independent role came in the 2002 TV-series ‘I Love Mummy’ which was the most demanding role of his career in movies. During his time as as an actor, he did appear in the small but distinctive role in Dreamcatcher which was a 2003 hit film. Also the feature of a guest-appearance in the ABC’s family series entitled “Three Moons Over Milford” saw his impressive form as an actor and a future star. It was not long before his acting career did take off to a new height as with the lead role in the ‘Rocket Science’ a coming-age film with the famous director Jaffery Blitz which got the response as well as the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance. A part in the Daydream Nation was uplift for him and had him star opposite Kat Dennings. His talent brought the most wanted role in the film ‘The Perks Of Being a Wallflower’ of the year 2012 did the job he desperately wanted; he got the name of the “Best Star of Tomorrow” and also had the thing that he aspired to hail, a cast opposite Emma Watson. Then it was all flying colors for Thompson as he got the lead in the film industry and did get the worldwide recognition that he always wished and aspired for.
A professional life was one with the some struggles but then it was quite successful for Thompson but was the personal the same?
