Phillip Martin Simms, better known as ‘Phil Simms’ is a retired American football quarterback. He has played for the New York Giants for the 14 years in the NFL. Currently, he is working as a television sportscaster for ‘CBS’ network. Simms was born on 3rd November, 1954 in Springfield, Kentucky, U.S. He was grown up in Louisville, Kentucky. As per his educational background, he completed his high school education from the ‘Southern High School’ based in Louisville. While studying at the high school, he was playing as a quarterback for the ‘Southern Trojans’. Later he joined the ‘Morehead State University’ where he played for the legendary coach, Bryan Evans. While playing for the University, in the senior season he showed his incredible playing skill with completing the pass of 92 over 173 passes. With his immense effort, the team finished with the record of 2-6-1 in the senior season. He played amazingly in the senior season of Morehead State with the pass completion percentage of 48.9%.
