Paul Sorvino Biography
A phenomenally talented actor, Paul Anthony Sorvino is known to the world as Paulie Cicero, a true-to-life portrayal from the blockbuster hit of 1990, Goodfellas. Prior to this role getting him the applause and appreciations of the audience as well as the critics, Sorvino was an active stage and theatre actor. He has played supportive roles on the major hits like Law & Order and A Touch of Class to his name. From there Paul was able to land the leading role and the worldwide fame to his name, that being the courtesy of adaptations to film of the Bloodbrothers where he showcased how far he can get real in acting.
Born on the 13th of April, 1939 in the heart of Brookelyn, New York, Sorvino’s father had the job of one foreman in a robe factory and his mother used to work as a part-time piano teacher and a homemaker. Having to share the family with his inspirational parents, all supportive of him, he could not have been more gifted and asked for anything more than their care and support. He was at the Lafayette High School till his early age and the rest of his schooling did happen in American Musical and Dramatic Academy. It was not long that his acting career did take an amazing turn as he started to come in the TV-series as well. King Lear saw him gather more prominence and also the much aspired international fame. With the lead role in the “Glamber” a majestic film along with one of the famous award winning directors, saw him as the ‘Law Man’ which became the top grossing film with the ‘Political’ title of all time. A part in the film with that success is sure to have him appear him in the latter series. It was time for his aspirations to take him to aspect the roles of Authority Figures in the latter of his working series when the star wanted to step into the Law-based roles. He has now got the name of the “Authority Star”. And has had the thing that he aspired to hail, ‘The Emmys’’. Then it was all flying colors for Paul as he got the lead in Still Standing from Fox and did get the worldwide recognition that he always wished and aspired for.

But the relationship did not last long as per the couple had been going through hurdles and had to terminate their marriage. And again Paul went onto marry Vanessa Arico, an aspiring actress and model, but the status of the relationship remained the same with her and the couple got divorced in 1996 and now are said to have been getting up for another try.
