Nate Ruess | Biography
Many of us remember the band Fun that won two Grammy awards in 2013 one for their song We Are Young and the Best New Artist. Nate Ruess is the lead vocalist, the song-writer and musician, virtually the most important member of the band. Nate formed the band with Jack Antonoff and Andrew Dost back in the year 2008 shortly after dismissal of his former band The Format. The Fun is making its way into the world music serving with some awesome music.
Nate is originally from Iowa City, Iowa in the United States. His birthday is dated February 26, 1982. He is the youngest child in the family of four children. The talented and determined guys bounced back in February 2012 with their second album Some Nights. This would make several hundred thousand sales reaching no 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Apart from his band work he has teamed up other artists too. Nate sang a duet Just Give me a Reason with Pink which topped the US Billboard Hot 100. He is also the co-writer of the song Die Young sung by Kesha. He also tours with other well established artists as well as his band alone performing at different places.
