The Danish professional boxer Mikkel Kessler was born on 1 March, 1979, in Copenhagen, Demark. He has got three famous nicknames in his career “Simply the best”, “Hitman”, and “Viking Warrior”. His father is Danish and mother is English (Salisbury, Wiltshire). His stance of playing is orthodox and is of nationality Danish. He fought with Calzaghe on 2007, 3rd of November in between 50,000 audiences. He loose the fight with Calzaghe because of the refree’s unanimous decision. He then played with Ward, Froch, Bouadla, Green, Magee, Froch II and have win with them. He is a very good boxer and is very with his position. He protected three title occasions before hitting on 12 November, 2004. His friend Mads Larsen was set to fight against Manny Siaca for WBA Championship in Copenhagen. His friend didn’t made him depress as he won the title because Mikkel Kessler was injured in training. He also protected his title in Sydney in June 2005 with Anthony Mundine and in January 2006 with Eric Lucas. He won by knockout at 2:58 in round 3 in Parken Stadium with Markus Beyer in 14 October 2006. He played against him as he was raised to WBA Super Champion after his winning in WBC. He also defended his WBC titles and WBA (super) on 24 March 20007 at the same Parken stadium against his challenger Librado Andrade. Their fight was scored as a shutout 120-108 by all of the judges. In his boxing record he fought with 49 and got victory with 46 of his opponents and loses for three times. He made 35 of his opponents lose in Knockout. He has no draws in his career.
