Kevin Zegers nicknamed for his real name Kevin Joseph Zegers is a Canadian actor and model. He has played many appreciating roles so far by now which includes Josh Framm in the Air Bud film series, Damien Dalgaard in the CW teen drama Gossip Girl, and the protagonist in Rock Mafia's music video "The Big Bang". Apart from that he had also got chance of lead role in the film Transamerica. Additional to his film credits, his other remarkable films are Dawn of the Dead, It's a Boy Girl Thing, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, The Jane Austen Book Club, Fifty Dead Men Walking, and Frozen.

Kevin Zegers was born on September 19, 1984 in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada by his birth name, Kevin Joseph Zegers. He was born as a son of Mary-Ellen, a teacher, and Jim Zegers, a quarry worker. For his family members, he has two sisters, Krista and Katie. He has been originated from Netherlands as his all grandparents were born there. For his academic background, he attended St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Woodstock. He had been very athletic during his school life. He used to play football and basketball often. He is also an avid golfer and weightlifter. In February 2002, he had played on the Hollywood Knights celebrity basketball team in California.

Talking about his career startup, he had begun performing from the age of 6 by appearing in about 30 TV commercials. His first appearance on TV at his age of 7, was as Michael J. Fox comedy Life with Mikey. Later on he was offered many supporting roles, including a guest appearance on the television series The X-Files. Luckily, he had the starring role in Air Bud (1997), which was a film about a sport-playing dog. In later years, Zegers got chance to appear in three sequels, as well as a similar genre film, MVP: Most Valuable Primate (2000), which featured a hockey-playing chimp. During his career as an actor, between 1997 and 2004, Zegers had starring or costarring roles in many low-budget Canadian and horror films, including Nico the Unicorn (1998), Komodo (1999), and Wrong Turn (2003). He also appeared in the short-lived American television series Titans (2000), for which he was chosen by producer Aaron Spelling. Zegers had also worked with co-star Yasmine Bleeth in the 1999 film It Came from the Sky. He had a major role in the Academy Award-nominated independent film Transamerica in 2005. In same year he had also appeared in Felicity: An American Girl Adventure based on the American Girl Book series, as Benjamin “Ben” Davidson in Williamsburg Virginia 1775. Zegers' performance as the street-hustling bisexual son of a male-to-female transsexual was praised by several critics, and he won the 2006 Cannes Film Festival Chopard Award, which is given to promising young actors. He also guest-starred as Damien Dalgaard in Gossip Girl from 2009 until 2010, and returning again in late 2010 for multiple episodes throughout season 4. He appeared in Rock Mafia's 2010 music video "The Big Bang", and in 2012, played the male protagonist in the television series Titanic: Blood and Steel. He also has portrayed Alec Lightwood in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013).

He has won many awards from his movie roles so far, in 1998 he had won Young Star Awards for his best performance in a comedy film. Later in 2006 he won Chopard Trophy for male Revelation from his movie Transamerica.

At present he lives in Toronto, Canada with his wife Jamie, whom he had married on August 3, 2013. Kevin had met her 6 years earlier before getting married. He loves to have pet with him, now he has two dogs at his home named as Hockey and Nugget. His prized possession is his hockey equipment.
