Kevin Dillon Biography
Kevin Brady Dillon is an American actor who was born on the 19th of August and in the year of 1965. Dillon is mainly known for his role and character play, Drama on Entourage. Entourage is featured on HBO and listing itself in the drama and comedy category. Dillon was born in New Rochelle, New York. He is the son of Paul Dillon who was a portrait painter sales manager and Mary Ellen who was a homemaker. His father is also a golf coach at the Fordham University. His brother Matt Dillon is also an actor, while he is the younger brother. Both Dillon brothers attended the Mamaroneck High School. In his career time he was also known for the character of Bunny in the war movie Platoon. The movie was an Academy Award winning movie. The dramedy series Entourage which was telecasted in HBO earned him great achievement as he was nominated for Golden Globe Award and also nominated three times for the Primetime Emmy Awards.
He started off his career in the year 1980 when he got to feature both in the television and in the movies. He was widely recognized while he did the role of Bunny, a psychopathic soldier in the movie Platoon. The movie was released in the year of 1986 and it is considered as the breakthrough movie in his career. In the year of 1983 he portrayed Arnold Norberry in the television movie No Big Deal. Then later he did the character of Brian Flagg for the remake of the movie The Blob. The movie was premiered in 1958 and was a sci fi movie. The remake of the movie faced a huge economic loss as the production budget was 19 million while the total generated amount was only 8.2 million. Some ther remarkable movies done by Dillon includes War Party which was released in the year of 1988, The Doors which got screened in 1991, he had the role of a drummer named John Densmore. And later in the year of 1994 he did a movie titled No Escape.
When the 90’s period were over, he began featuring in the television while he also appeared in the CBS series titled That’s Life where he did the role of Paul DeLucca. He also got the chance to appear in 24 which is the television series telecasted by FOX channel. He did the role of Lonnie McRae in the movie. He also did a movie in 2006 where he appeared in Poseidon. The movie was the remake of the movie The Poseidon Adventure. He also got the Golden Globe nomination in the year 2008. The show made its completion as it was its final season on the 9th of November in 2011. Dillon got married to actress who is also a model, Jane Stuart in Las Vegas on 21st April, 2006. In their wedding ceremony Jerry Ferrara was the best man of Dillon while Kevin Connolly walked Jane down the aisle. Both Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Connolly are the characters of the television series Entourage. Then later in the year of 2008 the couple gave birth to their first daughter and named her Amy. He currently lives in New York City. Dillon also has another daughter from his former relationship named Amy.
