Joe Bonamassa is an American blues rock musician, singer and songwriter as well. He has been collecting huge amount of appreciation from world-wide platform since the day he got linked to Blues rock, rock and roll. As a musician, Joe has been keen to many musical instruments as like guitar, theremin, mandolin, dobro, banjo as well. Officially he entered in music field in 1989 and since then he has been very active with his peculiar skills.

Apart from it, he has been associated to Bloodline, Black Country Communion, Beth Hart, Rock Candy Funk Party, Jason Bonham, Joe Lynn Turner. There has been huge amount of information about him, which has been summarized in his official website Sadly sufficient amount of information about him has not yet included in any particular sites, which is causing increase in curiosity among his fans and followers.

Talking about his early life before he entered in music field and became one of the most successful singers, Joe was born on May 8, 1977 in New Hartford, New York, United States. His birth location and origin makes him an American nationality holder with white ethnicity. Beside that his influences are British and Irish blue acts rather than American artists. So far by now, his study line has not yet disclosed in media for an ease to his fans and followers. But taking his birth date and professional active years in account, it can be concluded that he has been in music field since very young age.

Today he has approached 26th year in his professional career as a musician. Though he has been remarkably blazing his versatile artistic trail and also expanded an authentic, innovative work passion. It has been stated that he had started his onstage career by opening B.B. King in 1989, at that time he was only 12 years old by age. He has almost passed two decades in same field and today he has hailed worldwide as one the best greatest guitar players of his generation.

Additionally, he is an ever-involving singer-songwriter who has released 15 solo albums in the last 13 years, all on his own label, J&R Adventures. Bonamassa’s tour schedule consistently hovers at around 200 shows worldwide each year, and a heaping handful of markedly diverse side projects keep him thinking outside the box and flexing every musical muscle he’s got. He founded and oversees the non-profit Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation to promote the heritage of the blues to the next generation, fund music scholarships, and supplement the loss of music education in public schools.

There’s a case to be made that Joe Bonamassa, like another star who shared the same initials, is the hardest working man in show business. To the contrary to his life-long achievement, in an interview in Guitarist magazine he had cited three albums that had the biggest influence on his playing: John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton (the Beano album), Rory Gallagher's Irish Tour and Goodbye by Cream. He also noted that Stevie Ray Vaughan's Texas Flood had a big influence when Bonamassa was young. On the list, among other bands, he listed the early blues playing of Jethro Tull as an influence, and named both Martin Barre and Mick Abrahams as important musicians to him.

Bonamassa has developed ascendant prominence from his to date experience. Recent kudos include his very first Grammy nomination for Best Blues Album, which he earned with much buzzed about singer-songwriter Beth Hart for their sophomore collaboration, Seesaw; a Blues Music Award nomination for Best DVD for the 2013 solo acoustic project, An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House; eleven #1 Billboard Blues Albums (more than any other artist); five consecutive “Best Blues Guitarist” wins and a top “Best Overall Guitarist” honor in Guitar Player’s Annual Readers’ Choice Awards, and recognition as Billboard’s #1 Blues Artist, 2010 the year Joe Bonamassa: Live At The Royal Albert Hall was released, featuring Eric Clapton joining him onstage.

Talking about his personal life, it is very disappointing matter that he hasn’t yet disclosed anything about his life in public to date. Despite of being one of the successful musicians, he prefers to keep his personal life indoors.  He can be followed on his twitter account @JBONAMASSA.
