Jeffrey Donovan was born on May 11, 1968. He is an American actor for film, television and stage and producer. He is most known for his portrayal of Michael Western on the famous American cable TV series Burn Notice. He portrayed the character for six years from 2007 until its end in 2007. To add to his film credits, he has done a notable work in the movies like Believe in Me, Changeling, Come Early Morning and Hitch.  He is actively involved in various film and television projects which will be coming out soon in the near future. 

He was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts, United States and was raised by his mother along with his two brothers. To receive his high school education, he went to Amesbury High School. During that time, he was mentored by Patricia Hoyt, his teacher, who also helped him to get a scholarship that enabled him to participate in a summer program to improve his acting skills. Then, he went to Bridgewater State University and later transferred to University of Massachusetts Amherst. He graduated from there with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater. He portrayed the role until the end of the series on September 2013. He was paid a salary of $200 thousand per episode on the series. His directorial debut too came with on an episode of Burn Notice. He was arrested on July 12, 2009 for allegedly driving under influence. He currently lives in his home in Los Angeles, California.
