There’s beginning to every end! Rudimental has signed The X Factor star Ella Henderson to Major Toms Label. Earlier this year, it was announced that Ella was no longer on Simon Cowell’s Syco Records’ roster.

What is Ella up to after being dropped by Syco Records?

She made headlines after releasing her debut album, Chapter One, in 2014, which included her number one single, Ghost. The 22-year-old has signed a new record deal with Major Toms, which is a part of Asylum Record. Major Toms is owned by English drum and bass band, Rudimental. Welcoming Ella, the band said,

We’re proud to welcome the amazing Ella Henderson to the family she’s an exceptional talent, and we’re so excited for what’s to come.

She is the second singer signed by Asylum Records, following the singing sensation, Anne-Marie. Asylum Records is owned by the Warner Music Group, which has released albums of the artist like Ed Sheeran, Gucci Mane and Bob Dylan.

She came sixth in the 2012 series of The X-Factor after losing a sing-off with James Arthur, who went on to win the show. Following the record deal, Ella said,

I’m so happy and excited to have signed with an amazing group of artists, musicians, producers and friends. I have been so welcomed over recent months, and I am so excited to become a new member of the Major Toms / Asylum family! Having the boys involved in this next chapter of my musical journey makes me SOOOO excited for what’s to come!

She is currently working in her second studio album, This Is Everything I Didn’t Say and is currently on tour with Rudimental.
