Dimash Kudaibergen has Everything to Win The World's Best!
Dimash Kudaibergen gained nationwide popularity in Kazakhstan after he won the Grand Prix of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus in 2015. Currently, he is stealing the CBS’ new talent show, The World’s Best with his wide vocal range of 6 octaves and 2 semitones from C2 to D8.
Born on 24 May 1994, as Dinmukhamed Kanatuly Kudaibergen, Dimash hails from a family of musicians. He has a younger sister, Raushan and a younger brother, Abilmansur. The Kazakh government awarded his mother Svetlana Aitbayeva and father Kanat Aitbayeva the title of Honored Music Artists.
Recognizing his musical and singing talent, his parents enrolled him at Aktobe's Akhmet Zhubanov Music College at the age of 5. As a teenager, Dimash was indulged into Taekwondo and swimming. His mother attributes his ability to hold breath to regular swim training. He graduated in Classical Music from K.Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University in 2014. He is currently studying Master in Composing at Kazakh National University of Arts, from where he graduated in contemporary music with major in vocal in 2018.
He has been actively performing at various events and has been participating and winning singing shows since 2010. After winning the Grand Prix of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus, in 2015, he started appearing in local TV shows and public events. In 2016, he won People’s Favorite Award for Pop Artist and was honored with the State Grant by Kazakhstan President for Leadership in the Field of Culture.
He participated in Hunan TV’s Singer, a Chinese TV show, as a wild card in 2017. He earned wide recognition after finishing second behind Hong Kong singer, Sandy Lam. He held his first solo large-scale concert Bastau (Beginning) in Astana, Kazakhstan on June 27, 2017. Later, he did several international shows and earned international fans.
He has performed in 12 different languages, Kazakh, Russian, Mandarin, English, French, Ukrainian, Italian, Kyrgyz, Turkis, Serbian, German and Spanish.
The World's Best
Now, he is competing in the new CBS show, The World’s Best, which premiered on February 3, 2019. He is not the only Kazakh singer, who’s vying for the title. Daneliya Tuleshova,12, is also one of the fan-favorites and is emotionally moving the judges with her performance.
Drew Barrymore, RuPaul Andre Charles and Faith Hill serve the judging panel with James Corden hosting the show. 50 experts from all over the world, known as Wall of the World, help the judge in the adjudication of the acts.
