Diedrich Bader Biography
Karl Diedrich Bader is an American actor, a voice actor and also acomedian who is mainly known for the roles in several famous movies like The Drew Carey Show, Outsourced and Napoleon Dynamite. He was born on the 24th December, 1966. The talented actor was born in Alexandria, Virginia. His birthday lies on the Christmas Eve. His mother, Gretta Bader was a sculptor and his father William B. Bader was an executive of a foundation who was also involved in politics. At the age of two his family moved to France and later Bader returned to the United States to attend and complete his studies in the Groveton High School. He completed his graduation studies from T.C Williams High School which was situated in the town of Alexandria, Virginia. Later he went to the University Of North Carolina School of the Arts.
He started off his career by first appearing on different popular and renowned television series including Quantum Leap, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Diagnosis: Murder and Cheers. His one of the major and first lead role came in the year of 1993 where he did the role in Danger Theatre. He played as the Searcher. He then later moved into the filming industry. Karl did the acting for The Beverly Hillbillies. He did the role in 1993. After the movie he came back to the television series where he did Drew Carey Show and played as Oswald. The show got premiered in 1995. He made some of his appearances in different animated pictures like The Simpsons, Ice Age, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, South Park, the penguins in the Madagascar and also in the show of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
His appearance also includes the movie Office Space which was released in the year of 1999. He gave his role as Rex in the movie Napoleon Dynamite as the owner if Taekwondo dojang. He then represented himself as a thief in the 2004 release Eurotrip. Bader then took the role of Charlie in the movie Outsourced. Diedrich also did the animated series of Napoleon Dynamite where he did the role of Rex again. His another remarkable feature is in the movie Space Buddies by Disney where he played as Yuri as a Russian Cosmonaut. He has given his voice in different cartoons and mainly in the Batman series. He lend his voice for both the hero and the villain role. Some of the Batman series that he worked for are Batman Beyond, The Zeta Project, The Batman. His another contribution goes to the animated version of the Green Lantern as Guy Gardner.
Going on with his filmoraphy details he has been playing in the screen since 1989 making Star Trek The Next Generation as his first appearance in the television. He had featured in the 2nd season. The television series of 21 Jump Street which was filmed in the year 1990 also featured Bader while he also did Quantum Leap in the year 1990. Bader also provided his voice for both of the Hercules series as Adonis. The series in 1998 was Hercules: The Animated Series and in 1999 Hercules: Zero to Hero.

The first franchise of Ice Age also featured his voice as Oscar. The movie was a release in 2002.
