Deborah Norville :: Biography
Deborah Norville born on 1958 August 8 is a famous journalist as well as an American television anchor. The television program Inside Edition has been hosted by Norville since 1995. She was the host of Today which was broadcasted on NBC before she had done her work in Inside Edition. She was born in Dalton, Georgia. She completed her studies by doing her graduation from University of Georgia which was located in Athens. She graduated by holding the degree in journalism.
At the age of 56 she has gained the popularity among the journalist which is hard enough to achieve. She started her career by anchroing in different programs scheduled by local television studios which was in Athens. Then she continued her work in the Athens. When she was 28 she used to work in NBC and was rewarded as the anchor of NBC News at Sunrise. The newscast had to be done early in the morning which was equivalent to the program Today. Norville replaced Palmer from the newsdesk of Today and continued the work she had been doing in Sunrise. Later she also altered Tom Brokaw which gave her a chance to host NBC Nightly News. She was the appointed the third host after Gumbel and Pauley which was announced by the NBC. She got the opportunity to be seated in the closing as well as th eopening of every show, being the third program’s host.
When she was in her college years in the University of Georgia, she had also been the member of Delta Delta Delta Women’s Fraternity, Alpha Rho Chapter. She had been doing her graduation studies at that time. There were numerous affair heard about Deborah Norville at that time but she got engaged to Swedish businessman Karl Wellner. The got married in 1987. Later after her marriage she got pregnant. She gave birth to three children whose names are Niki, Kyle, Mikaela. During the time she was working with the televisions she also spared some time for her writing and music too. Back on Track: How to Straighten Out Your Life When It Throws You a Curve was the work which she did in 1997. She also contributed to the children by writing two children’s book I Don't Want to Sleep Tonight published in 1999 and I Can Fly which was released in 2001. Both the children’s book was published by Golden Books. Her work in the music has also been considered as one of the great contribution. In the year of 2001 she released “keep on moving” an original song recorded by herself.
About her fashion statement she has a unique way of confronting hairstyle. As an anchor she has to present herself in a different way. Now she has a bob cut which gives other people illusion of having long hair. Her legs and feet are displayed enough as she has a spectacular and perfect body figure.
