Charles David Todd, mostly known by his professional name, Chuck Todd, is a renowned television news personality. He was born in the year 1972 and celebrates his birthday every year on April 8. He works for NBC News as the Chief White House Correspondent and also serves as the host of the popular MSNBC show, The Daily Rundown. He also serves as the on- air political analyst of NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, MSNBC, Today and Meet the Press. He became the political director of NBC News in March 2007.
He is a native of Miami, Florida, United States as he was born and spent most of his early life there. His father is Stephen Randolph Todd and his mother is Lois Cheri. His mother’s side was Jewish, so he was raised as a Jewish. He completed his high school from Miami Killian Senior High School and then went to George Washington University. He studied there from 1990 to 1994 and had majored in political science and minored in music. However, he gave up college before graduating. During his college, he used to play French horn and attended on a music scholarship.
While he was still in college, he worked for Senator Tom Harkin’s 1992 presidential campaign. It was then he got a first hand experience on political initiative campaigns in Florida as well as campaigns based in Washington, D.C. He provides on-air political analysis on several political discussion shows including Meet the Press, Morning Joe, The Rachel Maddow Show, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and blogs for MSNBC.com. He was also the Contributing Editor at Meet the Press. He succeeded Gregory as NBC News Chief White House Correspondent on 18 December, 2008. Besides his political and journalism career, he is also the co-author of How Barak Obama Won: A State-by-State Guide to the Historic 2008 Presidential Election and an adjunct professor at John Hopkins University. He received the honorary degree Doctor of Humane Letters from Marymount University during its sixty-second commencement ceremony, in recognition for his work in journalism.
About his personal life, his wife is Kristian Denny Todd. They have been married for a long time noe and are still pretty much in love and enjoying their married life. From the looks of it, divorce is out of question. The couple has a daughter, Margaret Todd and a son Harrison Todd. Currently, he resides in his home in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and kids.
