Jay Ulloa rose to prominence after he competed on the second season of La Banda, Spanish-language singing competition. He recently joined the cast of Chicken GirlsI as Drake.

Born on November 23, 2001, in Sacramento, CA, Jay is a multi-instrumentalist and can play seven instruments. FYI: Most of them are self-taught. In an interview, he revealed,

I sing and play seven instruments: the guitar, the bass, the drums, the piano, the flute, the ukulele and the trumpet.

At high school, he was a part of the varsity soccer and swim team. He was forced to sing at church choir by his mother at the age of nine. From there, he had to keep doing it and eventually fell in love with it.

His time in La Banda boosted his confidence in singing. He has also worked with Alkatraks (Maifo + Karloff) for a Latin fusion song, Manos al Aire. He runs a self-titled YouTube channel, where he has more than 40k subscribers. He also promotes his songs on the channel.

While he has been singing since the age of nine, he got into acting in 2018 after joining the cast of Chicken Girls. In the series, he portrays the role of Drake, love interest of Rhyme (Annie LeBlanc). While fans are loving the chemistry between Rhyme and Drake on-screen, in real life, Jay is sparking dating rumor with another co-star Indiana Massara.

From being featured in each other’s Instagram posts to collaborating for YouTube vlogs, they have been spotted together on numerous occasions. Fans are totally shipping the two, and in fact, they do make a great couple. However, they haven’t shared much on their dating life yet.
