Brian Robbins is taking the lead as the President of Nickelodeon replacing Cyma Zarghami, who led the network for 30 years. He has a daunting task in his hands to steady the falling ratings of the kid-based channel through managing creative and business operations. He was appointed as the President of the Paramount Players, which is a division of Paramount Pictures, on 7 June 2017. After he left Paramount Players for Nickelodeon, President of Paramount Pictures, Wyck Godfrey, has taken over the role of makeshift president of Paramount Players

How rich is Brain Robbins?

Brian started his career as an actor appearing in an episode of Harper Valley PTA in 1982. He claimed stardom as an actor after appearing as Eric Mardian in the American sitcom, Head of the Class, from 1986 to 1991. In 1989, he hosted the children version of the TV game show, Pictionary. He marked his debut as a director in sketch comedy variety show, All That, in which he also served as a writer and executive producer, in 1994.

He took the helm in some of the hit series, including One Tree Hill, Coach Carter, and Sonny with a Chance. He co-founded Varsity Pictures with Sharla Sumpter Bridgett in 2007 and produced multiple movies and TV series, including Fred: The Show. However, he first came to the limelight after co-founding AwesomenessTV with Joe Davola on 12 July 2012.

He stepped down from his position as the CEO of AwesomenessTV, after 5 years on February 22, 2017, after NBCUniversal/Comcast took over DreamWorks Animation. Further, he went to collaborate with producer, Michael Tollin and founded a production company called Tollin/Robbins Productions. He worked as the President of the Paramount Players for 16 months from June 7, 2017, until October 1, 2018, before Viacom roped him as Nickelodeon’s President.

Although he left Paramount, he would still play a crucial role in the development of Paramount films like Dora The Explorer and Rugrats. As of 2018, he has accumulated a huge net worth of $30 million. He is married to the publicist, Laura Cathcart. Together, they share two sons, Miles and Justin.
