Toby Jones is an English actor who was born on the 7th of September in the year 1966. He is best known for the supporting cast in different movies. He had done the supporting roles from the year 1992 and 2005. He was born in Hammersmith of London and was the inheritance of actors Jennifer Heslewood and Freddie Jones. He had also appeared in a movie with his father titled Ladies in Lavender. He went to the Abingdon School in Oxfordshire. He attended the school in the early 80;s. he then went on to study drama from the year 1986 to 1989 at University of Manchester. He also attended L Ecole International de Theatre Jacques Lecoq from the year 1989 to 1991. He has got two brothers who are also engaged in the filming career. His brother Rupert is a director while his another brother, Casper is also an actor.
He filtrated his supporting act from 2006 where he did the role of Truman Capote in the movie Infamous. Talking about his early career life he had appeared in more than two dozens of movies. He got his first role as an actor in the year 1992 in the movie Orlando. In the beginning he dubbed the voice for Dobby in the Harry Potter movies and also gave his voice for the character for Oblomov for the 2005 BBC Radio 4. He then appeared in the 2001 movie The Play What I Wrote which was the presentation of London East End and was of a comedy genre. The comedy film was directed by Kenneth Branagh. He achieved the best supporting role for the Olivie Award for the role of Arthur. When the movie was moved on to the Broadway he also got nominated for the Tony Award. Jones used to feature in the movies of Harry Potter but in the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets both Jones and Branagh played where he did the role of Gilderoy Lockhart.
He also played as Robert Cecil in Elizabeth I which was the post production of 1st Earl of Saisbury HBO/Channel 4. Then in the coming year of 2006 he represented the role of Truman Capote where he did for the biopic in Infamous. He had also featured in the adaptation of Stephen King;s The Mist. The Mist was released in the year of 2007. His other acts includes, the role of Karl Rove which he did in W which was production of Oliver Stone. He also portrayed Swifty Lazar, a Hollywood agent in Frost/Nixon. He returned back to the National Theater stage where he did Every Good Boy Deserves Favour. He returned to stage in the year of 2009. He also did some other stage acts like Parlour song in the Almeida Theater and also performed in The First Dominico at the Brighton Festival Fringe. And in the year of 2011 he also did the role of JMW Turner ath the Arcola Theater where he did performance in the Painter.
His other television appearances and film features includes, Doctor Who in the year 2011 where he featured in the episode Amy’s Choice. He appeared as the Dream Lord. He then also appeared as Kotris in the series of Big Finish productions which was an audio drama and was titled Dark Eyes. Jones did the role of Arnim Zola in the Hollywood movie, Captain America: The First Avenger. His another role was as Percy Alleline as a British spy which was featured in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. The movie was an adaptation from John Le Carre. He also played as one of the dwarves in the movie, Snoe White and the Huntsman and also had a leading role in the television mini-series of Titanic.
