Best recognized for her role on the TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Stephanie March is an American actress for the television, stage and films. She was born on the 23rd of July in the year 1974 as Stephanie Caroline March. She played the role of Alexandra Cabot on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999). She is also known for appearing in Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005) and The Invention of Lying (2009), among others. She gave up her birthday to World of Children in 2010 and became the celebrity ambassador to the World Children Awards. Her recent movies include Innocence (2013) and The Invention of Lying (2009). Her breakthrough role was undoubtedly of Alexandra Cabot on the NBC crime drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She portrayed the role for three years from 2000 to 2003 and appeared in the series as a guest and later as a recurring character. Since then she has reprised her role and played the Bureau Chief ADA of the homicide bureau in the NBC courtroom drama Conviction. The show was cancelled after 13 episodes.
