Sam Ryan is an award winning American sports personality.  She was born in the year 1969 and celebrates her birthday on the 5th of February every year. Currently, she works for the MLB Network as a sports caster and has been working for it since September 2011. She serves as a Studio host and reporter appearing across several MLB Network's programming such as the regular-season MLB Network Showcase game telecasts.

 She is a native of Port Jefferson, New York, United States of America as she was born and spent her early childhood there. Besides that, not much is known about her parents, how she was raised and her early life. About her education, she attended New York Institute of Technology. She is a graduate of Hofstra University and has major in communication.  

Prior to joining the MLB Network in 2011, Ryan was a reporter and sports anchor for WCBS-TV in New York. She also contributed to the CBS Sports' coverage of The NFL on CBS and the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. Before that, she worked as a sideline reporter for the ABC Sports and ESPN on Sunday Night Baseball telecasts, the Little League World Series, NHL playoffs and Stanley Cup finals, college football telecasts and the 2005 Monday Night Football season. Before starting her career with ESPN and ABC Sports, Ryan used to work as a sports anchor and reporter for WABC-TV in New York, WFAN-AM radio in New York and other regional TV news outlets. Her work at MLB Network Showcase games, include her reports from MLB Network's first-ever Postseason telecast on Oct. 7, 2012, between the Oakland Athletics and the Detroit Tigers; Team USA's dramatic victory against Italy in the 2013 World Baseball Classic; and Cincinnati Reds pitcher Homer Bailey's no-hitter against the San Francisco Giants on July 2, 2013.  Her career highlights include winning a Regional Emmy Award in 1999 for "Outstanding Series Feature," a local Associated Press Award in 2000. For her outstanding work over the years she also received an Emmy nomination in 2010 and New York State Broadcasters Association Awards in 2007, 2010 and 2011 for Best Sportscast.

Sam is married to her long time boyfriend Jeff Ryan. Although their exact marriage date is not known, they have been married for quite a long time now. The couple has two children together, Nicklaus Ryan and Jensen Ryan.  Ryan seems to be living a happy family life with her husband and children and the couple are still much in love. From the looks of it, divorce is out of the picture for many years to come. Ryan seems to have balanced her professional and personal life pretty well and has left no place for complaints.
