The confident, hypnotizing and hot television journalist Michelle Kosinski is working for NBC News. She joined the channel in 2005 as news correspondent and was named foreign correspondent in 2010. She is working for the network from the station based in London. Working for NBC she has covered some big news such as hurricane Katrina aftermath, Britain serial killing, 2008 Presidential Election, 2010 Haiti Earthquake, British Royal Wedding in 2010, 2011 London Riots, 2012 London Olympics, 2012 Afghan unrest among others. She is the 2009 Emmy Award recipient for live coverage of the Presidential election. Kosinski was born on May 6, 1974 in Willington Township in New Jersey to biologist father Robert and chemist mother Jeanette. She was one of the four kids to them. Her father served for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Michelle was brought up in Cinnaminson Township in New Jersey.
Michelle was a bright student. She went to St. Charles Borromeo School but completed high school education from Holy Cross High School. She used to be a cheerleader and ballet dancer, also interested in writing and creative arts during her school days. Upon high school graduation she attended Northwestern University acquiring Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in journalism through Accelerated Master’s Program. She was active in dancing and theatre work during college days.
Michelle aspired to build up career in journalism, got her first job at WIFR-TV, a CBS affiliate in Rockford Illinois, soon after graduation. She left WIFR and went to Charlotte where she found herself in WSOC-TV. There she won the Best Reporter award too. The ambitious lady left WSOC and joined WTVJ at Miami in 2001. Finally she witnessed her dream come true when she joined NBC, the prestigious network, in 2005. Michelle grabbed the opportunity with both hands and pleased the employers giving her best. She was named foreign correspondent in 2010. For NBC fearless Michelle has covered the dangerous news from earthquake hit places, reports of bomb threats, terrorist attacks, etc. She has also interviewed highly respected persons. She is also news contributor for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, Today, MSNBC and CNBC.
