James D. Cantore popularly known by his professional name Jim Cantore is a renowned American meteorologist. He was born in the year 1964 and celebrates his birthday every year on February 16. Currently, he is working as an on-air personality for The Weather Channel. He first worked for The Weather Channel in the year 1986 and has been with the channel ever since. He is a member of both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.
He is a native of Beacon Falls, Connecticut, United States of America but spent his early years in White River Junction, Vermont. About his personal life, Jim is a married man. His wife is Tamara Cantore. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl Christina in 1993. Two years later, their son, Ben was born. Tamara suffers from Parkinson's disease and both their children have Fragile X syndrome. The couple ended their long term marriage in the year 2007.
