American television and radio personality, A. J. Hammer, celebrates his birthday on 31st October every year and was born in the year 1966. His name at birth was Andrew Goldbreg but is commonly known by his professional name A.J Hammer. He serves as the host of the HNL and CNN evening entertainment show Showbiz Tonight, which he has been hosting since its launch in 2005. He is based in the New York bureau of CNN. Besides that, he also serves as CCN’s entertainment correspondent and hosts daily entertainment reports and live awards show coverage for the network.

There is no information on his early life and family. The questions about his birth and growing up have not been answered yet. About his education, he went to White Plains High School in White Plains, New York City to receive his high school degree in 1984. For his undergraduate education, he attended the University of Hartford. He graduated from there in 1988 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. He has worked for Sirus Satellite Radio and has served as the host of several of its programs. During the early 2001, he hosted a program by Court TV that focused on crime and justice in the entertainment industry, called Hollywood Heat. He worked there until 2005. After that, he joined CNN and HNL and has been with it ever since. He has also served as an entertainment correspondent for Good Day New York and as a special correspondent for EXTRA. His good look has earned him appearances on the cover of Gym Magazine and has modeled for the book Heartthrob: A Hundred Years of Beautiful Men and The Mane Thing. He has appeared on the music video id What You Want by Debbie Gibson.

Hammer prefers to keep his personal life away from the scrutiny of the media. He has not yet revealed any of his relationships and it is hard to know if he is dating someone or has a girlfriend.
