The University of North Texas which is commonly known as UNT is a public university institution which has got the provision for the higher education along with the research programs and also learning in different other fields. The university was established in the year of 1890 and is currently located at the Denton in the state of Texas which is in the United States. UNT has got the motto of A green light to greatness as the present working president of the university is Neal Smatresk who was appointed in the year of 2014. The college was first named as Texas Normal College and Teacher Training Institute from the year of 1890 to the year 1894. Then from the year of 1894 to the year 1901, the university was named as North Texas Normal College, later in the year of 1901 the college got its name as North Texas State Normal College. After that in 1923 the college was again renamed as North Texas State Teachers College and in the year of 1949 the college again got the name as North Texas State College. Then from the year of 1961 to the year of 1988, the college got the name as North Texas State University and finally the university got the name as University of North Texas. The name is currently the prevailing name of the university. The college has got the present Chairman as Jack A. Wall whereas the current President is Neal Smatresk. The college has got the subject offerings for the fine arts, public policy, engineering fields, and graduate professional education. Along with the  courses, the college also has got other courses for the liberal arts, humanities and also professional graduation programs.

The University of the Northern Texas. The University has got the offerings for the 98 other bachelors degree in the several courses along with 82 other courses for the Masters degree.
