Broward College is one of the public college which is situated in the Broward County in the United States. The Broward College was established in the year of 1959. At the beginning of the establishment of the college, it had been founded to expand the college system in the Florida region. In the year of 2008, it concluded itself as a state college which gave the offering of Bachelor program degree which is for four years. During the time of its starting, the college was named Junior College of Broward County or JCBC while at that time Joe B. Rushing was the president and had 28 faculty members which had the students numbering 701. Until the college’s first enduring buildings were finished in 1963, students concentrated classes in the past Naval Air Station Junior High buildings on the western periphery of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The three campuses of the Broward College are A. Hugh Adams Central Campus, Judson A. Samuels South Campus and the North Campus. The A. Hugh Adams Central Campus, the college’s first enduring campus, is situated in Davie. The college was originally established with seven buildings on a land of 152-acre (62 ha) site, the Adams campus is now a residence to the Buehler Planetarium and Observatory; Institute of Public Safety, a gold LEED-certified facility for the training of the new and veteran law officers in the enforcement, the Mayer Gymnasium; a health sciences mall that has got a simulation center. The campus also has got the features of the Ralph R. Bailey Concert Hall and a visual and also a performing arts facility. The Library of the campus has got the association with the Florida Atlantic University while it has also become a home to the College [email protected], the college is a high school which has got the partnership with the Broward County Public Schools which was in the year of 2001.

The next college associated with the Broward college is the Judson A. Samuels South Campus which is named after one of the trustees of the college as well as the community leader of the South Broward. The college is situated in the land area of 103 acre in the Pembroke Pines which is located in the west side of the Florida’s Turnpike. While the latest reports says that it has been home to the Aviation Institute which is located in the North Perry Airport. Another joint support is for the college of Broward and also the Broward County South Regional Library. The next college is the North Campus which is located in the Coconut Creek and has got the land area of 113 acres and is adjacent to the Florida Turnpike. The campus was established in the year of 1972 and has got several buildings which are Omni Auditorium, Health Science Center II. The other institutes includes the Golf Training Center along with the Broward College/ North Regional Broward County Library. It also has the association of the Junior Achievement Huizenga Enterprise Village which is named after Wayne Huizenga. Huizenga is one of the philanthropist and also an entrepreneur of the Broward County. While the college houses the Critix IT Academy which monitors the manufacturing program of the campus. The IT Academy is also the part of the Critix Academy Network.

Apart from the associated colleges, the College has also got some of the institutions like Willis Holcombe Center, Pines Center, Weston Center, Institute for the Economic Development and also the Broward College Maroone Automotive Training Center at Miramar. The Willis Holcombe Center is situated in the Downtown Fort Lauderdale while it has also got the partnership with the Florida Atlantic University. The center also has got the higher education which is situated on the East Las Olas Boulevard. It has got the land area of 210000 square feet which has been equipped with different science and technology equipments along with the co-operation of the students enrolled. The Broward Community College has also various offerings.

The Broward College has also got other associated educational center which are, Tigertail Lake Center, Peru International Center, Ecuador International Center, Sri Lanka International Center and also the Vietnam International Center. The Tigertail Lake Center is situated in the Dania Beach which has got the facilities of different water sports and also other aquatic facilities. While the Peru International Center was established in the year 2007 and is situated in the Guyaquil and Quito, Ecuador.
