One of the reputed college of United States, “Baker College” is a private not for profit American college based in Michigan. The college was established in the year 1911 in Flint Township, Michigan. Currently, the college has thirteen locations throughout Lower Peninsula of Michingan. Baker College features over 150 career programs. Let’s talk about its historical background initially the college was named as Baker Business University. The University was established in the year 1941 by Eldon E. Baker. The college merged with ‘Muskegon College’ in the year 1965. The University was given a name of ‘Baker Junior College’ in 1974 and started to work as a non-profit corporation in the year 1977. After that, there was initiated various expansion and development activities in the college. In 2008, the college was renovated and transformed into ‘Baker College Center for Transportation Technology’. After a year, new institute called ‘Baker College’s Culinary Institute of Michigan (CIM)’ was opened for all the students who had interest in studying ‘Culinary Arts’, ‘Baking and Pastry Arts’ and ‘Food & Beverage management’. The construction process started in the spring of 2008 which occupies 39000 square foot facility in Muskegon, Michigan. In 2010, ‘Baker College of Cadillac’ started its new center for ‘Transportation and Technology’. The college celebrates its 100th anniversary and the ‘Culinary Institute of Michigan’ was granted Exemplary Status accreditation by the ‘American Culinary Federation (ACF)’ in 2011.

Baker college, currently has fourteen ground campuses. Each of the campus has its own business entity. The college’s campuses and services are coordinated by an overarching Baker College system.
