Angelica Hale makes history on America’s Got Talent! She returned to the AGT stage to compete with other Got Talent champions on Jan 21. Before starting her performance, she divulged that she is fighting for her place on AGT: The Champions and the song applies what she’s doing. She belted out Fight Song rendition, and after her breathtaking performance, the live audiences and the judges got on their feet. The pleased judge Heidi Klum said, 

Angelica, you are like the little boss lady that you are. You came here to win. I can see that. I can feel that.

Howie Mandel told Angelica,

When people show up on this show, the level of competition is much higher. Just by the title, you are amongst champions. You show up, and you ripped the ceiling off this theater. That was your fight song, and if I can do anything, I am going to help you win this fight.”

Howie’s pressed the golden buzzer making the 11-year-old, the very first two-time Golden Buzzer recipient.

Short Bio:

Born on July 31, 2007, in Atlanta, Georgia, Angelica Hale is the daughter of James Hale and Eva Bolando. She has a younger sister, Abigail. She contracted severe bacterial pneumonia when she was just four years old, which resulted in multiple organ failure. She received a life-saving kidney transplant from her mother who she refers to as her hero. Angelica competed on AGT on Season 12 in 2017 and received golden buzzer from the guest judge, Chris Hardwick. She finished behind ventriloquist Darci Lynne.

Post-AGT, she performed in various events, including AGT live shows, 2017 NFL game and 2017 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She was named the spokesperson of Sepsis Alliance’s It’s About TIME in the spring of 2018.

Without a doubt, she stands out when it comes to singing, but in 2019, we can also see her on the big screen. She is set to appear in the 2019 movie, American Reject and will also lend her voice in the 2019 animated series, Maya Unstoppable, for the titular character. She has advanced to the finals of AGT: The Champions and will be joined by Paul Potts, BGT season 1 winner, who was voted through by Superfans.

Angelica and Paul will be competing against Cristina Ramos, Susan Boyle, Preacher Lawson and Deadly Games and other four acts, who will be revealed on Jan 28 and Feb 4. The 10 finalists will battle against each other on Feb 11. The winner of America’s Got Talent: The Champions aka “The Olympics of Talent” will be announced on Feb 18.
